SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY- At Angelini Pharma, we are committed to caring for people, the community, and the planet. We work alongside our partners, exploring innovative solutions with a focus on environmental and social sustainability. In 2023, we developed a Sustainability Plan. Through a materiality analysis, we have translated our company’s and stakeholders’ intentions into a structured strategy, consistent with the Group's, setting a series of concrete goals.

Angelini Fine Chemicals: A Commitment to Sustainability

Angelini Fine Chemicals operates its manufacturing activities minimising the environmental impacts of our products by reducing our carbon footprint, using state-of-the-art technologies and the best business practices.

 

In July 2022, we began our sustainability journey with a strong focus on two key goals under the PLANET pillar:

  • Climate: purchasing of 100% renewable electricity (Italy)
  • Decarbonization plan:to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 42% by 2030

Our Results:

  • Climate: 100% renewable electricity purchased (Italy)
  • Advancing the Decarbonization Plan: ongoing through two key funded projects:

      ∗ ETERNAL - GA No.101057668 "Boosting the reduction of the environmental impact of pharmaceutical products throughout their entire life cycle”

      ∗ LIFE-GREENAPI GA No.101114152 “Development & demonstration of low environmental impact innovation and optimization practices in pharma production"
